RANDOM ROOMIE

  1. Players can only enter once per show.
  2. The presenter will randomly announce during the show that a "random roomie" is to be picked.
  3. A number between 1-40 will then be randomly picked, each number corresponding to one of the 40 rooms on the site.

  4. The room which corresponds to the number chosen will then be announced.
  5. Immediately or soon after the room announcement, the "player total", i.e. number of players in that room, will be established.
  6. This will be established based upon the amount of people stated as "chatting" according to the chatroom display.
  7. The number announced will be the final figure, irrespective of new people who may subsequently join the room.
  8. A "random roomie number" will then be randomly selected between 0 and the "player total".
  9. Starting from the top of the list of users as displayed in the chatroom display, the designated official choosing the random roomie will count down to the "random roomie number", i.e. if the "random roomie number" chosen is 16, the designated official will count down to the 16th person on the list.
  10. The random roomie's user name will then be announced.
  11. The random roomie will then have 30 seconds, according to the clock in the studio, to make themselves known to the designated official waiting in the "radio chatroom".
  12. The radio chat room must be empty and is only reserved for winners. However, if the random roomie is unable to make herself or himself known due to the chat room being flooded with chat, then if the 30 seconds passes without claim that random roomie pick will be void and a new pick made.
  13. If after 30 seconds (according to the clock in the studio) the random roomie selected has not made themselves known to the designated official, the prize amount will rollover until the next random roomie is picked.
  14. If any technical problems occur, i.e. the chatrooms freeze or any other technical problem, that random roomie pick will be void and the prize money will rollover.
